MediaBanc was established in 1997 by Alan Lim, providing media monitoring services focusing initially in the Malaysian market. The business has grown across six countries in South East Asia, with around 1,000 retainer clients, offering print, broadcast and internet monitoring as well as quantitative analysis. The MediaBanc head office is in Kuala Lumpur, with offices in Johor Bahru, Manila, Bangkok, Jakarta, and Ho Chi Minh City.
